For the very first time on Friday December 3 2021, the world witnessed both the Chevrolet and Ford that will compete in the 2023 Supercars Championship. Based on an entirely new platform and new powertrains, the Gen3 Supercar will be the basis for the category moving into the future.
Both the new Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang GT Gen3 Supercars can be preordered in 1:18 and 1:12 scales, with the 1:18 scale models to be produced in die-cast with fully opening parts.
The Camaro releases will be GM Offical Licensed Products, while the Mustang releases will be Ford Official Licensed Products with both also being licensed by Supercars.
The initial range of our new Gen3 Supercar model announcements feature the two spectacular launch liveries that adorned both cars at their public unveiling at the 2021 Bathurst 1000.
Development and tooling will commence on both cars as soon as the final homologation papers are ratified by Supercars and Motorsport Australia.
